In 2014, former Sumida Power Technology Co., Ltd ( current Sumida Electric Co., Ltd.) acquired Nihon Kohden's transformer business.
Nihon Kohden, a leading provider of medical electrical equipment such as electroencephalographs (EEG) and monitors of other health related information, has been engaged in the development and sales of Power Transformers, High-Frequency Transformers and Reactors for medical and industrial use over the past 50 years.
As a new member of the Sumida group, the medical market is one of our core business segments where we now utilize this know-how and experience to further expand our business.
